Do denim jeans and denim jacket make a good or bad combo?
I bought this denim jacket today, I have never been that into denim jackets, but I like this one, I don't know whether to wear it with jeans or not! I have quite alot of different coloured jeans, I have a few blue pairs, and the jacket is blue.
Is double denim a good look?
Or should I wear different trousers?

How do you keep raw denim jeans from fading on your shoes and shirts?
I like raw denim jeans but I don't like when the color rubs off on your shoes and shirts. Can anybody give me a solution to this besides stop wearing light colored shoes and shirts?

You can't just stop the color from rubbing off. I think you should rinse the jeans with cold water in the sink. Don't scrub off the color, just saturate and squeeze until blue dye stops coming up.
How do I get rid of paint from dark denim jeans without losing the actual color of the jeans?
I have a pair of dark denim jeans and unfortunately i got splatters of white paint on them while painting my room. At first I considered it to look pretty cool, but now i'm pretty much sick of it and want to get back to regular looking jeans cause they're pretty nice. So do you have any suggestions on how to get rid of the paint itself?
Try a strong alcohol like vodka. I had this happen to mine with red paint, and I used a dab of Absolut vodka on a paper towel and removed a good bit of it. Then I used a pre wash spot remover (i.e. oxyclean, shout, etc.) and let it sit for 10 minutes or so. Wash it in warm water, you shouldn't lose any color if they've been washed before. And before you put them in, pour a bit of the washing detergent over the spot to concentrate the cleaning there. If you happen to lose a bit of color in that area, you can buy blue dye at any supermarket that you can conceal that area with. Good luck, with some hard work, you can get it out.

I am doing a documentary for NHD on the hisitory of denim jeans. If anyone has any websites that could help me, or any old pictures of jeans it'd be great. I've tried all the search engines and websites, but it's really hard finding pictures of ancient jeans from the 1900's.
it was they needed strong works pants that could take the punishment of being outside and working all the time. low and behold, levi strauss (dutch i think) had some denim and fashioned some pants and sold them to the prospectors. they all liked them because they held up so well for that kind of abuse.
